Flowers in Orbit: raawii x Nice Bunch at Chelsea in Bloom 2026

raawii and the ethical floral studio Nice Bunch present Flowers in Orbit - a standout installation at Peter Jones during Chelsea in Bloom 2026.

Exploring the relationship between vessel and flower, the project marks a unique meeting of Danish design and British-grown floristry.

A Poetic Encounter

Set within the historic John Lewis & Partners department store, the project unfolds as a poetic encounter between design and nature. Inspired by Chelsea in Bloom’s Out of This World theme, the installation is built on a shared vision: design as a collaborative, conscious practice deeply connected to materials and place.

From this perspective, object and living matter are no longer separate elements, but part of a single, interconnected system.

A Gravitational System

Flowers in Orbit explores the relationship between vessel and content as a gravitational system. raawii’s sculptural ceramic forms become the center around which flowers move, gather, and expand - evoking orbital paths and fields of organic energy.

In these compositions, the ceramics do not act as passive containers but as gravitational centers of form. The flowers appear suspended in continuous motion, creating a sense of weightlessness and an almost cosmic dynamism. The result is a single hybrid sculptural object, where contemporary design and seasonal nature merge.

Sustainability at the Core

A key pillar of this collaboration is the commitment to sustainable practices in both floristry and design. Every bloom in the installation is seasonal and British-grown, sourced locally from Nice Bunch’s own flower farm and other suppliers who share an ethos of regenerative agriculture and a short supply chain.

By bringing this experiential installation to the heart of Sloane Square, Flowers in Orbit highlights the creative power of collaboration between ceramics and floristry.

The collaboration is rooted in a deep respect for sustainability. We have partnered with Nice Bunch specifically because of their unique approach; as an ethical floral design studio and farm, they operate with a regenerative agricultural philosophy.

By sourcing every bloom locally from their own farm and other British suppliers, the installation stays true to a short supply chain approach. It is a meeting of Danish design and seasonal, British-grown floristry, where environmental sustainability is considered at every level - from the initial sketch of a vase to the final placement of a stem.
